Explore Tours
In the early morning, a Five S Travel Travel representative will transfer you from your Cairo hotel to Cairo International Airport.
You will fly to Abu Simbel via a domestic flight through Aswan. Upon landing at Abu Simbel Airport, a Five S Travel Egyptologist tour guide, holding a sign with your name, will meet you. Your amazing Aswan day tours begin with the Abu Simbel Temples, situated on the western bank of Lake Nasser, approximately 230 km southwest of Aswan near the Sudan border. These two temples, constructed for Pharaoh Ramses II and his wife Nefertari, date back to 1255 BC and were rediscovered two centuries ago. The larger temple, honoring three major Egyptian goddesses, showcases four large Ramses II statues on its facade. The smaller temple, dedicated to the love goddess Hathor, features statues of Nefertari. After visiting, you will fly to Aswan by domestic flight.

Tour Plan
Upon arrival in Aswan, the Five S Travel Egyptologist tour guide will escort you from the airport to continue exploring Aswan’s attractions:
Philae Temple: Dedicated to the goddess Isis, this temple narrates the famous Egyptian myth of Isis reviving her husband and the mummification of Osiris. Originally built during Ptolemy II's reign, the temple was relocated to Agilika island after the High Dam's construction to protect it from flooding.
The High Dam: This engineering marvel, a rock-fill dam on the Egypt-Sudan northern border, was constructed between 1960 and 1968 to shield Egypt from the Nile's annual floods. Inaugurated in 1971, it stands 111m high, extends 3,830m in length, and has a 980m wide base. Its spillway can discharge 11,000m³ per second.
A Felucca Ride: Enjoy a felucca sail on the River Nile around Aghakhan and Elephantine Islands (visit not included).
After the tour, you will head to Aswan Airport for your return flight to Cairo.
